Quintessential Denver live rock band MUSUJI unleashes their 4th full length studio album, BLANKET STATEMENT.  Written and recorded over the difficult span between 2020-2021, fans will find the album’s multi-layered artistry familiar and yet completely reinvented for the era during which it was created.

The band has long held the moniker ‘wild with madness’ which accurately describes the band’s musicianship, fluently shifting between serenity and the unhinged. Founded in 2007, they’ve played from coast to coast with such acts as, All Them Witches, The Front Bottoms, Polkadot Cadaver, Fair to Midland, & In the Whale. Critics have distinguished the band as being a “must see” live performance.

Despite the pandemic, health issues, new babies and changing living situations the boys stayed diligent while creating their next piece for release to the world.  MUSUJI set forward conceiving thoughtful music solely as an escape from the entangled world around them.  Throughout this experience MUSUJI has managed to reinvent themselves, while keeping true to their original vision and passion.  The songs describe a fragmented and disconnected world that so many of us have felt thrust upon over the last two years.

2022 marks the 15th year of the band, and the connection and love they have for each other has never been stronger.  With producer Michael Zucker (Guitar) and Ryan Eschenbach (Saxophone, Percussion, Drums) joining the official roster, MUSUJI is rounding the corner on a new and exciting chapter of the band.
