Lady Romeo is an alternative funk band based in Denver Colorado. The band began when Asha Romeo (vocals) met Gerald Robinson (guitar) in a music theory class at CU Boulder in 2018. They began writing songs together and soon brought in Chris Kerr (keytar, backing vocals) and Jack Rockwell (bass). For about a year, these four worked on songs that eventually would become the band’s first EP, “So It Goes.” For that project to be realized, however, the band needed a drummer. After several auditions, the group brought on Rowan Woodbury (drums), and released the EP in Fall 2019.
