Equally adept in energetic pop, hard-hitting funk, contemporary jazz and Dixieland swing, the group performs absorbing music with ear-catching melodies, improvisational prowess, and deep grooves.

We are the Mountain State Brass Quintet, a collective of busy musicians that all call Denver, CO home.

In addition to MSBQ, you can hear us at your Denver area symphony concerts, jazz clubs and everything in between. Our diverse playing expertise allows us to play music for all kinds of occasions. We would be thrilled to provide music for your restaurant or brewery, wedding day or big work event
